North Sikkim is North District of Sikkim state of India and it is a paradise for nature lovers basically there are two places is famous in tourism, one is Lachen & another is Lachung both places are situated in different direction at a distance of approx 120 K.M from the State capital Gangtok, from La-chen one can enjoy the highest motorable point of Eastern Himalayan region (16,900ft) close to glassier visiting Gurudongmar Lake .At La-Chung Is a different word in our globe, people is like to address this place as the paradise of Norh Eastern Himalaya, attraction of this place is numerous species of Rhododendron Flower, Highest cliff, hot spring and grassing ground of yak , wide valley and closest snow clad mountains and virgin culture of local community.

Day 01: Arrival at Gangtok
Welcome at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station & drive to Gangtok (135 Km., approx 4.30 Hrs. hill drive) crossing through beautiful Mahananda wild life sanctuary, from the foot hill point `Sevoke’ you will feel the thrill of hilly drive in accompany of river Tista along with the road. While reach at 'Rangpo' the entrance point of Sikkim state, take a tea break at Rangpo and proceed to Gangtok with enjoying the scenic view of steep cultivation and tiny village of Sikkim’s own identity. On arrival at Gangtok the capital of Sikkim check in at hotel, overnight relax at hotel.
Day 02: Gangtok to La-chen (North Sikkim)
After breakfast pick up around 09.00 A.M. (time may vary due to obtain travel permit from Sikkim Gov’t Dept) start from Gangtok to La-chen (124km approx 5hrs) at an altitude of 8,500ft en-route visit Tashi view point, Asia’s Longest bailey Bridge on the gorge at `Rang Rang’, Seven sisters waterfall, keep your camera ready for capture every minute changing view of nature and majestic snow clad peak’s of Himalayan range. Take a Tea break at Chungthang the confluence of two river ‘Lachung-chu and Lachen-chu’ on arrival at Lachung check – in at hotel. Overnight relax at hotel.
Day 03: Visit Gurudongmar Lake & Transfer to La-chung
Very early in the morning approx 4.00 am will be picked up for excursion trip to Gurudongmar Lake (68km approx 3hrs very high altitude drive) at an altitude of 16,900ft on the way take a break at Thangu or Chopta, At Chopta you are entering army security zone and will be in surveillance of Indian Army because Guru-dongmar Lake is situated very close to the strategic point of Indo-Tibet (China) border, the lake very sacred for Buddhist, Hindu and Sikh religions. Back to Lachen by afternoon subsequent transfer to La-chung (48km approx 02hrs) on arrival check in at Resort, overnight at Lachung.
Day 04: Excursion to Yumthang Valley (Singba Rhododendron sanctuary)
Early Morning go for visit Yumthang-valley (altitude 12,000 ft ) known as valley of Rhododendron flowers, 24 species of Rhododendron blooms in this valley at the spring season. Yumthang is a paradise for nature lovers with a fascinating blend of flora and fauna and breathtaking scenic grandeur. On way back Just cross the river Lachung – Chu by walk on a beautiful hanging bridge and visit the (Tsha-Chu)Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort at lunch. check-out from Lachung and proceed to Gangtok en-route visits the wonderful Bheema & Twin waterfalls, Phodong Monastery. After reach in Gangtok check – in at hotel at Gangtok and free for relax or walking tour & shopping in M.G. Marg area. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 05: Back to Home
Morning free for packing after breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri Rly Station / Bagdogra Airport (135km, approx 4.30hrs hill drive) for your return journey with good memories.

Interested tourists can visit this place while visiting the Yumthang Valley on additional charges (if Indian Army gives permission), because Zero Point is not included in your tour package cost. |
